Kamper City RV Dump Station

$25, no black tank flush, no potable water.
A leaky septic hose emerges from a pile of rocks. That’s it.

I called ahead to ask how much this trailer dealership’s dump station cost, and they told me $20. That was steep, but I had no options.

When I arrived I asked a manager in the service department where the station was and how much it cost, he told me $20 also, and directed me to the dump.

It was an awful “station“ that was nothing more than a hole in the ground surrounded by very uneven sand and loose gravel covered in what clearly was not just mud. There were two cheap sewer hoses, one stuck into the hole, with a rock holding it in, but it was full of cracks and the seal would not hold on my RV.

After using my own hose, dealing with this suboptimal situation, and extensively cleaning up, I went in to give my $20 to the cashier, who said “Oh, it now costs $25.” When I pointed out I had called less than an hour ago and spoken with someone at the same counter who told me $20, she said “Yeah, I suppose we should put a sign up here for everyone who works here to know. But it’s still $25.”

Besides the awful condition of the “station,“ that’s a bait and switch. Stay away from these thieves.
