This has got to be one of my favorite spots that is somewhat local to my family. Easy to access. Large spots. Trail (although steep) was a nice walk. Close to fishing on the Neosho River. Priced well at $15 a night. It was totally empty and quiet whole time we were here during the COVID-19 crisis. Police drove by a couple times a day but never bothered us. A few walkers on the trail, but nothing to worry about. Water and electric worked great. Dump station was close and is easy enough to use. Sites were level side to side but I started to get worried on the front Jack. Different sites will have a different story. They seemed like decently level, gravel spots. Asphalt drive. Well maintained for a city RV park. Some broken picnic tables scattered around, but nothing really trashy.
This spot normally has showers and bathrooms but were not functional while we were there. Has a open wifi available but didnt use it. I was skeptical and always am of open wifi.
