“Bad”
Reviewed Aug 20, 2018
I don't usually leave severely negative reviews but this campground was near the worst we experienced in our 8,000 loop of the American West. Parking lot sites with barely enough space to open the slides and to short to park out tow vehicle with the trailer. We determined we didn't like the campground after day 1 of a scheduled 4 and... more

Jacob Lake, AZ – Kaibab Camper Village This is one of only a few campgrounds near the north rim of Grand Canyon and it is a very busy place! We arrived on May 14, their first day of the opening season. The staff was very pleasant when we arrived (and every other time I went to talk with them) even though there was a bit of chaos due... more

“Best location for Grand Canyon North Rim, sites are just fine, bathrooms and such are basic”
Reviewed May 25, 2018
We understand why people in other reviews are not too excited about this place, but for the location and full hookups for an RV (30amp power only) this is really about the only option for the North Rim and it was just fine. It is about 45 minutes from the Grand Canyon and is easy to get in and out of. Staff was very helpful to get thin... more

Only stay at this campground if you need electric. The bathrooms are Porta Johns, and very far away from the campsite. The showers are even further away from the campsites and are pay showers located in a dilapidated building. Yes, this is the closest full hook up to The north rim, but unless you need electric you are better off to st... more

“Like sleeping at a rest area.”
Reviewed May 21, 2017
Like a lot of people, we stayed here because it is the closest place (40miles away) to the north rim with hookups...and they know this. The place needs attention. The sites are mostly small and cramped. Most people stay two nights, visiting the park for one day. So there is constant in and out of RV traffic. The bathrooms are far away ... more

“For sleeping only”
Reviewed Sep 16, 2016
There aren't a ton of choices around here to put your head down for the night and if you want hook ups this is the closest/only option. As you can see below the access is good, the location is excellent for visiting the North Rim - the sites are nice and wide and under pines. The staff were friendly however there were a number of issue... more

“Beautiful RV park near the north rim of Grand Canyon NP”
Reviewed Sep 07, 2016
Sometimes you find a gem of a place, but the people running it take the fun out of it. The staff is not especially friendly. We were here to replenish our RV and do laundry after several days of dry camping but after setting up and reading the rules we found out that filling your holding tank is prohibited. Other than that, it's a pret... more
