There aren't a ton of choices around here to put your head down for the night and if you want hook ups this is the closest/only option. As you can see below the access is good, the location is excellent for visiting the North Rim - the sites are nice and wide and under pines. The staff were friendly however there were a number of issues that would keep me from staying here if I needed anything more than a place to park and hook up.

The rules are not posted on the web site - so when you make the reservation it seems this will be a normal, full hook up site. This is not the reality and when I made my reservation by phone I was told only about the coin operated showers.

Showers: Yes, they exist but while I was here only one was working, the park was filled to capacity and they are coin operated. They cost $2.25 and there is no change machine at the showers - only back at the office.

Dumping: You can keep your tanks dumping 24-7 but the hoses cannot touch the ground. That's fine if you have something to prop them on, but it you don't a flexible sewer hose support is going to cost you $50. The rules say they are for loan but I was told I could buy one.

Water: The rules state that if they catch you using water inappropriately you will be charged $20 and you cannot fill your holding tank. It also states that the water is for drinking only.

Generators: You can't use them

“Beautiful RV park near the north rim of Grand Canyon NP”

Sometimes you find a gem of a place, but the people running it take the fun out of it. The staff is not especially friendly. We were here to replenish our RV and do laundry after several days of dry camping but after setting up and reading the rules we found out that filling your holding tank is prohibited. Other than that, it's a pretty little place in a great location.
