“Not For Us”

Reviewed Feb 28, 2019

Eh... not for us. We originally came into town and were going to dry camp at the BLM land down the street but that was really crowded and right on the corner of busy streets so we went in search of an rv park. We ended up here because of availability. We were in one of the pull through sites close to the entrance. The traffic noise a... more

“Good value and experience for the price point”

Super friendly people run the place, WIFI was good. Level gravel packed site, interior roads paved. Not much for amenities if you need that sort of thing - no picnic tables or fire rings, no public restroom, pool, etc. They do have a laundry room. Good value and experience for the money. Nice being able to walk right out the back of ... more

“not bad”

Reviewed Jun 25, 2018

This is kind of an odd park. It had a nice feel, but some areas seemed they'd be a little tough to navigate. We just stayed one night in one of the spartan pull-thrus up front. Had to make a LONG run of sewer hose and the drain is well above ground which made dumping difficult. I wouldn't have wanted to mess with that very often. Manag... more

For a private RV park this was pretty spacious and there was nice vegetation around the park. It’d probably get five stars if I could’ve used a credit card. The rate was reasonable for a weekly stay and it was a good home base to explore Tucson (30 minuets to Downtown) and Saguaro NP (15-20 minuets). There were great hiking trails that... more

Had a hard time finding a park in Tucson since my husband and I arn’t 55+. We found this park on the Passport America app, although the discount was only for the first 2 nights. But we got a decent pull through, there are some really nice back-in spots here with a lot of vegetation, but if your’e only here for a few nights they will pu... more

“Good clean park in the desert”

We stayed at this family owned park in Dec 2017. Here are some of our experiences: Pros: This park is out in a remote area of Tucson. Great access to hiking and biking in the national park adjacent to park. Sites are clean and no frills (they do offer upgraded sites but we chose not to spend the money), facilities are clean (nice ... more

“No frills park with direct access to mountain bike/hiking”

Reviewed Dec 27, 2017

Overall Rating

We stayed here in January during the busy part of the year and the park was about 2/3 full. This park has easy access to mountain biking and walking with the dogs - literally walk/ride out the back of the park and you'll come to the Tucson Mountain park. I listed it as no frills since there's no cable TV, no bath house, no picnic tab... more

“Near the road and near the desert”

Reviewed Sep 19, 2017

We stayed here as an experiment. We saw that there was good access to the surrounding desert as the north end of the park adjoins the Saguaro NP. The only space for my 40' class A RV was in the south row, next to the road. The road is noisy with passing traffic day and night. The neighborhood dogs bark most of the night. But the desert... more

This is a 55+ park and very peaceful. Sites are fairly level gravel with some trees and landscaping at each site. The pull-through sites near the road are saved for over-nighters with the wider back-in sites at the top of the park being much nicer. Many back up to the desert with trails right from the park.
