“Small Campground. Enjoyed For One Night Stopover”

Overall Rating

We had planned on staying in the adjacent Rocky Point Campground that has electric and water but it closed for the season on October 1. Juniper was still open but has no such amenities. It was clean and the spaces were nice. Our space J4 was a pull through with a view of the lake. Not level but we managed just fine. The covered concrete table with a view of the lake was nice. In our section the spots were spaced out nicely and felt private. Perfect spot for a stop over not far off hwy 40.

“Nice but not for me”

Overall Rating

It was nice enough. The camp host was kind and helpful. The site was clean.
However the sites are very close together. Also here was no electricity and the cell service was only 1 bar, sometimes.
Also, the lake had fish but they didn't bite at all on live bait.
Maybe another option but I am not sure.
