If you go make sure you don't go into the sand pit on the left. Myself and other people all got stuck in it as it's very soft sand that cannot support the weight of a camper. If you park on the right hand side at the end of the paved Road the ground is fairly solid and just fine.

Car-camped in the large parking area and it was mostly quiet except for the whistling wind and the yapping coyotes. There was one other person and I could hear their ATV revving softly in the distance. Decent views of the Tri-Cities depending on where you park. No obvious facilities, so be prepared.

Juniper Dunes Rd is now paved the 3 miles to the main parking area. Only ones here on a late Sept midweek stay. Likely gets busy with OHV riders on the weekend.

Tried to stay here for a night, was over 4 miles down a rough dirt road- we couldn’t make it in our 40ft 5th wheel as the road was too bumpy.

Yeah this area is definitely geared for the ATV crowd, and not for large rigs. It would not be peaceful weekend camping if you are not out there to ATV.
