This is not a good place to stay more than overnight. Trains and trains and more trains - all day and night. River current is very strong so the only swimming is in a small cove. Got a mouse in the house the second day. The other parks in the area are undeveloped. Camp host was not very nice. You have to pay $5 for the dump station.

“Secluded spot by the Thompson River. Loved watching the trains!”

We had a great site, large, next to a grassy area. Gravel, level sites. Water and electrical hookups. Pit toilets in our area. An assortment of campers. Train noise but not enough to keep us from sleeping. Great place for train viewing. Water access but strong currents. Be careful.

There is a 2 stall shower that takes loonies (old but clean) and a couple of pit toilets. The campground is between two active train tracks but was surprisingly quite.
