Do we have to let any one know where we are camping or can we just find our spot and settle in?

Just find a spot and settle in. Remember there is camping on both sides of the road for quite a ways in. Use the second road south of the pipeline, not the first. They’re very close together but the first is for pipeline servicing and doesn’t have that much access to the sites.

Hi, Joni. Just find a spot you like and it's yours! The only BLM land I know of that sort of requires check-in is Quartzite. Just try to be respectful of neighbors and try not to park right next to others unless it is very crowded.
