We have camped several times at the nearby Wasatch Mountain State Park and really enjoyed our time there but decided to give Jordanelle a try. I have to say, it is quite obvious that this park is funded much better than Wasatch. Jordanelle sites are all concrete with asphalt driveways and roads. The asphalt was actually re-done at the beginning of the 2015 season so everything looks quite fresh. The sites are well spaced and are (for the most part) tiered on the hillside so everybody gets a nice view of the lake. For the best views I would book something in Lower Fisher or Murdock Way, both located in Hailstone Campground. The sites over in McHenery are about the same but do not offer any hookups. Our site was on quite a slope so we had to use everything we could to help level our rig. The sites also offer very little in the way of shade so you will want to bring your own
There is a double sided dump station on-site with potable water. There are several playgrounds and showers and there is even a laundry facility. If you venture over to the boat doc area there is also a nice camp store with a few odds and ends but mostly snacks and drinks. They also handle various types of watercraft rentals in the store. We were able to take a friends boat out while there are caught several really nice fish.
About the only negative we saw were several sites being occupied but nobody was ever there. We were there on a major holiday weekend and to have some of the prime sites occupied but nobody home just seemed a bit odd to me.
We were very happy with our visit and will be making Jordanelle a regular place to kick back and relax now and then.

We camped here through September. Most of the sites are not level. In addition there is gobs of tar covering the cracks on each site that may be a problem in warmer weather. Each site has a very nice fire pit with some cool equipment built in to roast using the fire which I have not seen at a park before. The tables are all aluminum and the sit on level concrete pads that are generous in size. There are views to the lake and surrounding mountains from most campsites but not easy access to the reservoir from the campground area.
The campground is quite large and easy for any size RV or trailer to navigate. There are 5+ separate loops to choose from with limited shade at each site. Some are pull throughs and others are back-ins. Everything from tents to big rigs can fit in this park. One of the loops is only for tents which is nice but it is closer to the highway. Despite that proximity it seems slightly less noisy since it is down the hill from the highway.
One thing to be aware of is the strong sewer odor that seems to affect the entire campground at certain times of the day. Its not horrible but you will notice it and wonder if your tanks are leaking!!!
PROS:
Easy access to Park City, Heber City and Salt Lake City
All sizes RV's will fit
Excellent Cell Coverage with speedy LTE on both AT&T and Verizon
Clean and easy to navigate
Nice site amenities
CONS:
Sites are very un-level
Some highway noise
No hiking trails
No easy access to reservoir

Our first night here we were in site 103. I reserved it online because of the photos and it seemed like it had a nice water view. The site was a un-level, but work-able and the water pressure was off the charts. We have an internal regulator, and added an additional to the hose as well as a water filter and it still seemed like it might be too much, so instead of hooking up our water, we filled our fresh water tank and used our pump.
After our first night, we learned that there were sites with full-hookups for $3 more a night, so we moved to site 67 where the water pressure seems even crazier.
We learned that the full-hookup sites are usually for camp hosts and we got lucky because we came here at the end of the season after most of the hosts were gone.
Overall it's a lovely campground. The campsites are a little beat up from the weather. Many aren't level and most have tar covering the cracks. There's a little bit of noise from the freeway.
We were able to get 9 channels of television over the air.
The best sites with partial hookups are: 81, 80, 79, 78, 77, 76, 75

Easy 10 mile drive to Park City for shopping and restaurants. Also just 35 miles from Salt Lake City. Hiking trail nearby and access to rail trail but both times we've stayed here it rained almost the whole time so we didn't really get to check out the trails.
