We ended up here by accident when West Point campground didn’t work. Little did we know it was an upgrade, although it’s $10/night it’s SO worth it. No hookups or water, and first-come first-served. Sunday evening, there were only about 5 sites taken.

We arrived at about 6pm, with sunset at 830pm we had enough time to get mostly set up. Pad 6 accommodated our 28’ toy hauler with an 8 foot patio extension nicely, although the loop is pretty tight and I would not recommend anyone with a bigger rig than ours attempt this place - you have no options to turn around other than this loop. We were the only RV in the campground, Our spot was a bit off level, tilting towards the lake so chocks were a must and unhitching was a bit of a pain. Lots of trees so don’t count on the solar panels.

Water access is great, toilets are close and relatively clean, big dumpster, LARGE campsites. Nice little beach for swimming, paddle boarding, etc. During our stay, all campers were polite and respectful. Large picnic tables, fire rings, level tent spots.
