This could be a beautiful campground for horse lovers but trails need to be maintained and water should be available somewhere

Approx 20 Large camping lots with have flat gravel driveways, picnic tables, and fire pits. We choose a triple site for $15 night (single site is $10 and double $12). No hookups and no dump but very well maintained and an absolute beautiful location about 1.5 hours from St Louis. No Reservations are taken so just show up and pick a... more

“Horse campground. No sign of horses.”

Camped at the end of April 2022. The campground was empty except for me. The water was at every site, but not turned and not potable. Large camp sites for horses. Nice hiking. near river for fishing. A nice quiet place to camp.
