“Very nice getaway from St Louis”

Approx 20 Large camping lots with have flat gravel driveways, picnic tables, and fire pits. We choose a triple site for $15 night (single site is $10 and double $12). No hookups and no dump but very well maintained and an absolute beautiful location about 1.5 hours from St Louis. No Reservations are taken so just show up and pick a site, surprisingly there were only about 8 campsites being used on Memorial Day weekend. Lake Kincade is on the property with a boat dock about 1/2 mile from the campground. There is a restroom but did not use it. Xfinity mobile connection was minimal. There are breweries, wineries and hiking in the nearby area

“Horse campground. No sign of horses.”

Camped at the end of April 2022. The campground was empty except for me. The water was at every site, but not turned and not potable. Large camp sites for horses. Nice hiking. near river for fishing. A nice quiet place to camp.
