Mobile West RV Park

Listed in the Passport-America catalog as $20. Online You-Tube video same. Charged $50 and when questioned, "we're the New Owners" we make up our own rules. Never mind their contracted agreement with PA, still using the old billing receipt with Johnny's RV Resort name on it.

After being assigned a ground spot, and discovering it was a mud hole I didn't want to drag my power cable in, I asked for a refund, declining the no pad site. No dice. We have your Gold, We make the rules. No accountability for meeting customers needs first. As long as they have a reason, it makes it right. Wrong world from one I grew up in. Appealed to manager ,H . cold as three day old fish.

Also, watch out for their site application which requires you leave a full account of your Credit Card number, 3 digit code on file. Anyone can steal that too. Try any other RV park than this one. It's headed for the Tribulation.

Clean park with large sites, both 30A and 50A available. There is a large lake, playground and laundry facilities. They have both back in and pull through sites. The sites are some of the longest we have seen and many are also very wide. The park appears to be mostly seasonal or yearly occupants with a few transient sites. The park is quiet, low road noise but there are train tracks and the train is close enough to feel it.

Park appears to have Wi-Fi, but we are using Verizon and AT&T. Without boosting or external antenna, both carriers get avg 3 down and 2 up, AT&T seems to have a more stable connection. I work remote and had no problem here even with lower speeds.

The park is conveniently located to I-10, well maintained and had a friendly staff. We paid $25 + tax Good Sam rate for a total of $29/nt.
