I had booked my site in Feb. & had a good spot I thought, but when we arrived we found out that they had bumped us out of that spot & put us in a cramped site among the big rigs. The toy hauler behind us was mad that they didn’t have the space to put down the back while we were there & the tour bus next to us had a motion sensor flood light that went on every time we walked out of our camper. We were supposed to have a campfire ring but it seemed like an afterthought since it was on the opposite side of our camper & 20+ ft away, very inconvenient for cooking. Needless to say we didn’t feel comfortable at all & stayed in our camper when we weren’t seeing the city. The only reason I gave it 2 stars was because the bathrooms were actually really nice & it’s convenient location to the zoo. We definitely won’t be back.

Able to get a same day reservation with on line form. Well kept park with very nice bathrooms and showers. Laundry room clean also. Water and 50 amp electric, dump site available. Level gravel sites spacious and shady with green lawn between. Full bars T Mobile. Lots of shopping close by. Road noise only downside. $30/night.

Just don’t get site 15. It’s awkwardly shaped and your awning will touch the neighbors RV. Plus it’s unlevel like we’ve never experienced. Luckily we’re with our friends and we can use their big site to hang out in!

We were worried about being IN TOWN, but honestly you would have no idea you aren’t out at a nice state park in the woods.
It’s so quiet, and everyone was friendly.
Lots and lots of shaded trees which is a major plus.
Spots are decently sized, but aren’t super private.
We stayed after heavy rain and saw maybe just one mosquito.
Hookups and dump are available.
If your in the area and want a nice stopover, this is a great place!

Overall positive. PROS Clean, wooded area with flat and level sites. Staff was very friendly over the phone and accommodated our late arrival. This is a very popular campground and was full of high end RVs. CONS Water is shared between sites and flow was suitable only to fill gravity port. We experienced two annoyances: one of our neighbors smoked pot which stunk us out and required us to close our windows, and at 4:15 am we were awakened by a garbage truck backing in to the campground to empty the dumpster.

The park was adequate for our overnight needs, and probably good for a longer stay. It was quiet and close to the city.
Be aware that the dog park close by is for residents only. Your dog has to be registered with the county and a yearly fee paid to receive a key for entry.

The camp host was very friendly and check-in was easy. She asked if we were in town to visit the genealogy center. We were not, but I thought I'd mention it as a point of interest.
We got all 3 major networks on over the air HDTV.
