“Nice Park But A Bit Dated”

Reviewed Aug 11, 2017

Overall Rating

We spent one night here on our way south. I found the roads to be tight even though they were one way. ( I pull a 36ft travel trailer) The pad was very slopped and required a lot of blocking to reach level. The site was also very slopped and created some navigation issues for me. The dump station is only one lane and is right at the... more

Loved our stay here however we did bring home pest control and did have to spray for fire ants! Inspect the grounds before setting carpet or sitting in the chairs outside around firepit as there could be fireants... could have been season for them... however it was a wonderful stay , beautiful campground, bathroom was clean however... more

“Decent Park but fairly non-functioning restrooms”

Reviewed Jul 21, 2017

Nice Park. The primary focus of this park is parking your camper and going fishing on the lake. Maintenance upkeep was not good. Several bathrooms were not working. No conditioning of the air (AC or Heat) in the bathrooms. Don't plan on using the restroom facilities. We started out at Site 144 but the electrical was not working. S... more

“Enjoyable, relaxed weekend.”

Reviewed Apr 16, 2017

My family spent the 2017 Easter weekend here. The campground was full with no empty sites. Our site was on the north end of the campground and looked out at small arm of the lake. The site was spacious and very shaded and provided a nice spot for my popup camper. Camp site area was well maintained with a nice picnic table with ... more

“Nice lake view sites, poor restroom facilities”

Reviewed Jan 30, 2016

Overall Rating

I had higher expectations for this COE campground based on other COE experiences. The sites directly on the lakefront are nice. Narrow older asphalt drives that may have a fixable slope to them. Every site has a picnic table on a concrete slab along with a shade shelter over it. This was all good. The reason I'm giving this campgrou... more

“A very nice COE park.”

Reviewed Jul 01, 2015

Overall Rating

Big well spaced sites. Many are waterfront or water view (lower loop sites 25-60). Our first site was #9 in the lower loop which did not have a water view. It was still a nice site. Then we moved to 56 on the water. Better. Only negative might be the hike to the distant restrooms, but since we were in RV it didn't matter.
