Jerome County Fairgrounds

Jerome is a quiet spot to spend a night or two. The town is small, but is the county seat and has good stores for groceries, hardware, etc within a few blocks of the fairgrounds.

You can't beat 20 bucks a night for a power & water hookup.

The spaces are laid out on the fairgrounds paved parking lot. Each space has 20/30/50 power and water.

The south side of the lot, adjacent to the National Guard building has manicured grass and shade trees.

As of today (24 Aug 22) diesel fuel in Jerome is 60 cents a gallon less expenensive than the stations at the I84 interchange 2 miles away.

Verizon digital cell is 4 bars.

There is a good dump station about a block away.

We (25’ B+) hooked up (W/E) at the back wall just under the tree, so we had shade during the day. We needed 4 “lego” blocks in front to level. Other reviewers reported a level lot, which may be the case in the middle sites. A clean, quite place to stay. We stayed 4 nights. BUT, be informed as to events that may be scheduled during the week or on weekends. We happened to be there during a weekend when they hosted a very popular exotic pet show. Parking lot became full which made it difficult for us to maneuver to get out to pump.
Having missed our GPS directions we, fortunately, stumbled upon the Jerome City RV Dump Station located on 4th St. directly north of the fairgrounds lot. You won’t see it from the lot. Exit from the entrance, turn left, and go around the block. Signs point to the location. Campendium, as far as I could tell, did not show this dump site.
For $20 a night, we felt it was a great choice and would definitely stay again if in the area. Approximately 1mi from
I-84. Convenient, too.

Very level parking on a fairgrounds parking lot. They have raised the rate to $20 a night, but were only charging $10 because the water was down for repairs. It was about 30 minutes to the Falls, where entrance was free with a national parks pass. We made two trips to the Falls because the light for photographs was much better late afternoon to sunset. Also fewer people in the park. We checked out the nearby dump station, we’ll use it when we leave but know that it does not have potable water.

Needed a overnight stop and this was perfect. Clean, flat sites, on concrete slab. Has electricity and water. There is a dump not far from here. When we stayed the military was having a training exercise on the grass so we had a great helicopter show :) There was only 1 other rv besides us. Quiet and easy. There is a slot to pay or you can pay by the office front doors. We have a booster but we had 4 full Verizon bars. Pull thru sites and easy access to the Highway. We have a 36’ rv and we had no problem.
