“Tent camping experience”

Small campground with a few tent sites that you can walk to from the small parking lot. No RV or bus camping available. No cell signal of any kind. Really close to Moab.

“Nice little campsite close to Moab, Arches NP and so much more ”

It's a nice small campground along the Colorado River but no access to the water that we could find. It is also right along the road, which can be noisy with offroad vehicles at times. Only 10 minutes to the entrance to Arches NP and 10 minutes to the centre of Moab.
All the sites are walk-in, although you don't have to walk too far. No spaces for trailers or other rigs. Most people we came across were only there for 1 or 2 nights. We stayed for a week. It's hard to find affordable camping in the area anymore so we set up base camp there and explored the area.
At the time (October 2018) the sites were $15 per night but were being raised to $20 as we were staying there. Quite the jump from $8 a few years earlier.
There are pit toilets and large garbage bins on site but no showers. Not sure about cell service as we only used WiFi at the visitors centre in town, to avoid roaming charges (as we are Canadian).
A thunderstorm came through while we were there and created quite the flash flood in some sites. My advice, if there's rain in the forecast, choose a site that is on higher ground.
Overall a nice spot. We were lucky and had (mostly) respectful, quiet, neighbours.
Stealth Rainier would stay here again
