We stayed 5 nights as we needed full hookups and Whistler in Jasper had no full hookups available. It is a 40 minute drive to Jasper and it is beautiful. On our way back tonight we saw a bull elk and his 6 girls, big horn sheep, and a grizzley along the road. So yes stopping for pictures took about an hour from Jasper... The RV park is about average. Yes the downhill slope is more than usual and I had to use a 4 inch block under the jack stand. But it was clean and quiet. The water pressure was okay, but it was cloudy, even after filtering it. Good for showers, but we chose to drink and cook with bottled water

“Muddy and very unlevel”

This is a tight campground that are rows that slope down from a hillside. The pull through sites are quite long but one of the most unlevel we have ever seen. You will need all of your blocks to try and get level and maybe need more. The sewer connection is uphill from your dump so you have to raise your sewer hose up to get it to dump. The sites are also very muddy which definitely aggravates a bad mosquito problem. The water pressure was non existent so we needed to fill our tank and run off of the pump. Not really any usable outside space, there is a picnic table but just too close to use to your neighbors. There is a hot tub area that appears to be closed and not in use anymore. Also a large playground for the kiddos. The city of Jasper and Jasper National Park are about an hours drive. The town of Hinton with a couple grocery stores are about 30 minutes away. Not much else there. Highway 16 that takes you too Jasper has lots of wildlife around so take your time heading to the park.
