Overall Rating

This forest road is part of the offroad trail system near Lakeside. The sites along this road allow quick access to these trails.

The right side of the road was recently logged, providing sunny sites. Stay to the left side of the road for more shade.

The first fork in the road says "No Trailer Turnaround" on the left fork. This is incorrect as there is a large campsite in mature pines at the end of the road before the private property gate. This site is muddy in spring, but dries as summer approaches. It is large enough to turn a smaller rig around if empty. The road on this fork is very well maintained.

The right fork is a bit more rough, but still does not require 4X4. There are sites of varying sizes along this route.

The entrance received AT&T 2 bars of 5G and 4 bars of Verizon 4G, which degraded the further back one drives.
