I’m writing this review as I just got here, so I’m basing this off off first site. Sites are large. Road coming in was paved and passable for any car. A lil bumpy at times. But no major pot holes. I made it just fine in a Subaru Forester, pulling a teardrop trailer. I got the site at the top of the hill which had 3 bars Verizon LTE and 4 bars TMobile LTE. However, it fluctuated a lil. There’s a good size boat ramp at the bottom. You could probably swim here but I came in late Nov and it’s cold. Most sites had trash can, pole and BBQ/fire pit.The site at the top of the hill had some trash that I picked up. But overall it was fairly clean. There’s bathrooms on site but no sink or lights in them. You could probably get a big rig into one or two of the sites. But most are set for car camping/tents. I saw a family in a van at one. Overall, it was decently clean, kinda hidden, had cell phone coverage, great views and was free. I’d stay here again.

No hiking except to walk the road around the campground. Swimming wasn’t great as there wasn’t a ton of good accessible places, but we made do. We were mainly turned off from how dirty the water was.
Only one bar of service for both ATT and Verizon but the data seems to come through strong. Can’t stream but can surf the web.
All in all, it was a decent spot to stay for the night. If you’re looking for more of a “stay a few days” type place I’d go elsewhere.

Perfect camping spot, zero noise and friendly locals. There is a ramp for boats but nobody uses it overnight. Restrooms are very clean

Stayed here one night. Besides a bit of rubbish (which isn’t uncommon) and a broken picnic table it was perfect for us in our mini van. Barbecued on the barbecues set up and had a dip in the lake.

There are a few spots that are level for a RV/ travel trailer. We stayed near the top near the restrooms. The restrooms had no lighting nor running water so make sure you bring a flashlight and sanitizer. The majority of the sites are closer to the water and most are unlevel down the hill. Some spots have grills and some have fire pits and picnic tables. On the way in the road is really bumpy and more for one lane traffic. There are some houses along the way so there is potential for traffic from them or from boaters/hunters in the area. Also, if you are visiting during a rainy time I wouldn't recommend unless you have a 4x4 or willing to give it a whirl and if you have a dog or person that is afraid of gunshots there are hunters in the woods. Not really hunting near the sites but close enough to hear and some of the gunshot sounds traveled over the water.
