Nice set of campgrounds that gives you ticket to Fort Henry. The visit to Ft Henry is worthwhile. The staff are helpful and very patient w customers. The roads have several ruts in them. Site 28 and most have gravel and some grass. It backed up to the road to the bridge to the US and the traffic didn’t wake me up yet rain did. The showers have tiles floor to ceiling that are nice. There is a free timer for the water but no control of the temp. There is a nice playground for children. There is a nice swimming area. The activities nearby are amazing.

We arrived without reservations and were able to take our pick of a few available sites. Unfortunately, no riverside spots available however only a short walk to the water. We were able to launch our kayaks easily. Our site #43 was in the Sun mid day but in morning and evening there was enough shade. Gravel pad for Rv and grass with picnic table separated sites. We had water and electric only but they had a central dump station. My husband enjoyed the showers. I believe there was only one washer and dryer which we used after a short wait. There is a nice but hilly bike trail just outside the park along the parkway. Very scenic and can use to ride into Rockport or Ganonoque . Recycling and trash available. Great campground for outdoor enthusiasts- Cycling, kayaking, diving
