There are restrooms, but I can't speak to conditions as I didn't visit it. It was a perfect spot for us.

Really great location and sites, and all the variety of people you might expect. Off-leash dogs and people parking behind me in my (admittedly huge) site made me decide to move on, as it was still early in the evening and I wanted more space.

Probably not an official site, but no one seemed bothered by it. The second night there were 3 other people camped in the same opening when I woke up the next morning. Didn't explore the park any more than that but it was great to be able to pull in after dark, not need to level my camper, and get right to sleep. The road noise was really not that bad while sleeping, and I was definitely the closest camper to the road. Also had enough Verizon service to get some work in as well. Its a quick drive off the highway, and the gas station at the highway exit has lots of food and alcohol options.

Overall a nice place to stay a night or two and was easy to find. Lots of space for the dog to run and easy access to the river. The trash was empty and the restrooms were clean and had tp. Only cons were the camper next to us liked his music loud and the train nearby blew a horn during the night. We’d stay again if in the area.

The area in general didn’t seem to be very well kept. There was garbage in our campsite and a random shoe on a piece of plywood by the river.
It served a purpose for us sleeping while traveling through. I would not personally stay more than one night.
There is a grocery store close by and it didn’t take us long to get to/from the hiway.

Nice site to layover. Plenty of spaces. Picnick Tables fire rings restrooms. Nice grassy areas for tents. A little noisy from vehicles crossing a highway bridge.

Great free campground that is very large with many spots spread far apart. We camped one night in a 30' travel trailer while passing through town. It was very quiet with not many campers towards the end of the campground near the water access. We didn't hear anyone all night. I would absolutely stay here again. Bathrooms were pretty nasty, but we use ours in our camper. Loved that they had water spigots throughout the campground to fill your tank.

There is free firewood near the dumpster by the bathrooms and there is a water spigot on the wall of the bathroom (we were able to pull our RV right along side and fill our fresh water tank).
If you can’t fit your rig in the designated parking space, it seems to be normal to just put your rig anywhere on the grass near the designated site.
There are no hook ups, so you can pretty much count on everyone with an RV to be running their generator. If that sort of thing bothers you, this probably isn’t the place for you.
We had 4 bars for 4G LTE on Verizon but the speeds were AUWFUL. AT&T has less bars but faster speeds.
Overall, you get what you pay for. It’s a free campground that is in need of some TLC but its not terrible. We will stop again if we pass this way in the future.

I’m not sure how this city park on the Yellowstone River is free but please donate if you can. It’s beautiful, maintained, and offers lovely river views, fishing, and swimming! We had a massive pull thru site right to the right after entering the park. Please leash dogs and drive SLOWLY. The 78 bridge offers noise but it’s fine.

Abandoned out of state cars. Only thing I didn’t stick around for was the man with a mask and chainsaw.
