Overall Rating
Spoke to some locals in the area and they state Mack’s purchased this land and closed the dump. Not sure it will reopened again. So don’t throw in all your chips thinking your gonna dump here. 20 miles to the south is a dump station off the Henry’s fork which is open.

This dump station was closed when we were here 8/8/2020. Sign says next closest is 30 mi south in Ashton. We spoke to mgt at Mack’s and they said for $10 we could dump there but a week later, when we needed to, they were angry because someone else took their time reorganizing their basement while others in line waited but said, since w... more
This dump station was closed when we were here 8/8/2020. Sign says next closest is 30 mi south in Ashton. We spoke to mgt at Mack’s and they said for $10 we could dump there but a week later, when we needed to, they were angry because someone else took their time reorganizing their basement while others in line waited but said, since we had spoken to him previously, we could at a specified time and only had 20 min to do so.
We had seen a dump station 10 mi south in Island Park on the west side of the road at the south end of town and investigated it and decided to go there. Donation box at Henry’s Fork Dump Station.

Very convenient public dump station. Right off the road. People in area reference it as the "Mack Inn" dump station if you ask someone for directions. It's technically NOT at the Macks Inn. It's about a block away on the same side near the stand alone public bathrooms. So don't pull into the Macks Inn and try to look for it. If you do,... more
Very convenient public dump station. Right off the road. People in area reference it as the "Mack Inn" dump station if you ask someone for directions. It's technically NOT at the Macks Inn. It's about a block away on the same side near the stand alone public bathrooms. So don't pull into the Macks Inn and try to look for it. If you do, drive to your RIGHT past the gas station and you'll see the dump.
Note that there is no potable water here. Just a hose to rinse your tanks. So you'll need to fill your fresh water somewhere else.
We were boondocking at the Targhee Trail in Idaho about 15 mins west of West Yellowstone. This dump is about another 15 mins west of there. It's immediately after you cross the bridge over the river.
