“Lakeside Camp Spots Have long-term Campers ”

Overall Rating

The best sites along the lake, and with shade are full of long-term locals. Messy, spread out, industrial gennys. We camped in the 2nd area with zero shade, no privacy between sites, no water, and semi-clean pit toilets, but at least not on top of each other. For the fee of $23 CAD you can do better. Overall Rating

Arrived thinking was free based on last review. Was not free, so must be time of year if there is fee or not. We didn’t get lakeside spot (to left across bridge) but the lake is very short walk from most of the sites. It was mostly quiet even thought train close by, only heard during day not during night. Overall Rating

Would have rated 5 how ever the train tracks are right beside the lake. Unfortunately it passed a couple of time waking me up.
It’s currently free of charge as of September 5th 2022
