Also, there’s a fairy that goes to and from the island, if you’ve never taken the fairy with the camper, do. It’s frightening and exciting and interesting all at once, and saves an hour of driving out of the way. Also, it’s an hour from Seattle so if you want to see the city for the day and explore the area the rest of the time, that’s best.
We got to feed and pet so many rabbits, they’re used to humans and will come and eat right out of your hand. Super fun if you also have kids, they’ll love feeding all the bunnos. We got so friendly with them that we named all the straw colored ones Hanks and all the Siamese colored ones Prestons. And if you see some grey ones, they’re Silvertons. These are not the official names, but the bunnos got used to be identified as such. And if you feed them often enough, you get to distinguish some from the others.
Langley town is half a mile walk and is an adorable quaint town. The pizza place has AMAZING pizza!! And you can walk right on the beach with Mountain View in the background. Cutest town to see for sure.
Also the fairgrounds and really the island are surrounded by blackberries everywhere. And the campground host allowed us to pick some, and they were some of the best blackberries we’ve ever had.
All in all, this was a fantastic spot to stop at. Yes, there’s bunnie poop all over, but it’s their home and they’re sharing it with us for a bit. And there’s bunnies!!!! That’s a plus in my book!! ‘
ALso, for $25/night they have water and electric, and dump is on sight too. So easy peasy.
The Serranos Adventure would stay here again

A busy street is close with some noise. It is a usable place if you can put up with rabbits & their poop. At best it is good for a few days in a pinch. Not where you want to kick back and relax under your awning in the evening! Best as a place to sleep & then go sight-seeing all day.

It's a gravel lot, dead grass. About 4 other campers. Apparently rabbits are prolific on the island/area and their poop was EVERYWHERE. Fortunately, they're more like dry pellets- but still......and ironically, there are signs around (due to the attached fairground/stable) about not putting manure in the trash.
We didn't pay for hookups, but they were definitely old looking. They claim showers and a bathroom, but we didn't see any signs for them and my husband searched around. It was very quiet.
I would only stay here again due to the fact that we couldn't find dry camping and the State Park camping on this end is closed.
The nearby town of Langley was charming.
