Overall Rating
This is a good private RV park near Plattsburgh, NY and Lake Champlain. The facilities are dated but well maintained. There is a pool, clubhouse and horseshoe pit, etc.. and there are various activities scheduled throughout the week.
The sites are mostly shaded but there are some sunny spots. Be careful not to get under one of the many pine trees or you will be removing pine sap for weeks to come. Most of the sites are pull through, level and easy to access.
All the utilities and wifi worked well. Some of the sites in the transient area are narrow (even by private park standards) but the park was not full when we visited and management had spaced people well enough that this was not an issue. I suspect that on holiday weekends this is not the case and you may be on top of your neighbor.
At least half the sites are seasonal campers, but these are weekend "cottages" and not permanent residents. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming.
The park was clean and we would stay here again.
