Beautiful camp ground but I would not bring more than 20 foot tow behind due to fairly small parking spaces. Lots of hiking, biking, wheeling, what ever your heart desires. It’s at 10k and some of the sites have limited solar. Also do not follow google maps. Take 162 to Saint Elmo, Make a right, camp site is about 1/2 mile down a fairly smooth dirt road. The way past Alpine Lake sucks for anything but true 4x4. Go to St Elmo. Great host.

We found out about Iron City from a local at a gas station. We were looking for a place for a night or two as we were passing through. After we got set up and met the host we decided to stay a couple more nights. After spending a few days hiking we ended up staying 6 nights. We had to take the waste tank down to another town to dump but we needed to pick up supplies so it worked. The camp host was great. He told us about all of the trails and towns. We felt very safe and the host said he would keep an eye on our camper when we went to town. We are looking forward to going back. We went in late May and the road was very rough getting in. By MEMORIAL day weekend they had it smooth and easy to get out of.
