This is a small gravel parking lot at a trailhead into BLM land. It is close to a road, but not too noisy, especially after dusk. Extensive trails to enjoy and a lot of day use people hiking, walking dogs, etc. Very close to town, but feels fairly isolated. Lot of cows hanging around; watch your step.

No disturbances from others or officials. There was another off grid camper already here, a converted school bus, and in the evenings an older man who appeared to be living in his car.

I stayed here overnight with no problem but I asked the ranger when he came by the next day and he said this is day use only.
