We’ve been on the road for almost a month visiting family and friends from VA, to TX and CO. Been boondocking on the way from CO to home. Ran into some issues with our trailer with a dead battery last night. So we stopped here for the evening. Roads have many potholes you need to go real slow. Bathroom was clean and that was nice.

We stopped here for 1 night on our cross country trip. It’s first come first serve but there was plenty of space. Checked in with Lynn she was the nicest. The facilities are a bit older (office, restrooms and playground) but everything was functional, clean, and the showers were hot. Their website mentioned 1 free stay per night for military so I asked and she gave it to us. It was quiet at night. I would stay here again if in the area.

We made a reservation and let them know we would be arriving late at night. The clerk was very helpful and said she would leave our map on the bulletin board. The park office is well lit at the entrance and our map was there as promised. It's a well-lit gravel road one way thru the park. Bathrooms are locked by a code and were clean and included hand soap, toilet paper, and hand dryers.
The park is about a 2 minute drive from I-80, so it is very convenient. Noise level was pretty quiet despite being close to the highway.
Overhead lights in the park were great for navigation at night, but you will want to have your shades up to block it out.

Spots are small, but I was only staying one night and some were bigger so that may impact placement. Pet friendly and friendly staff. Open year around with water, electricity, and sewer. I would stay here again if passing though!

We stayed here for a night after visiting Iowa 80 Truck Stop. Nice place for a quick stop, gravel site, right off the freeway. A few big rigs were staying when I was here. Very quiet. Ladies at the office were friendly.

We stopped here on our way back to the west coast - friendly folk. Lots of resident RV’s but they’re very nice. Pool is in good repair and very nice. For being so close to the interstate I was surprised at how quite it is in the park. - it needs a little tender loving care and attention but for full hookups its a great deal.

My first impression of this place is not the best. The place was easy to find but when you first pull in you can tell the gravel roads are not well maintained. Some spots were really bad and when you’re driving a motor home with a car towed behind, it felt like I was going over multiple speed bumps all at once. As I drove to my spot I noticed that there are also a lot of people who seem to permanently live here as well. My spot is ok but it is not level at all either. Even with my leveling blocks, I’m still pitching forward. I’m not sure I would stay here again although my neighbors seem friendly (they are just passing through too and aren’t too thrilled with the place either).

Somewhat run down. Easy access, pool closed, several hydrants broken so two units need to share.

Had a long FHU gravel pull thru but it was very muddy due to all the recent rains. Had a small cement patio with picnic table. The patio was in poor shape. We unhooked our tow and backed up so we could open the door at the patio instead of in the muddy grassy area. Then parked the Jeep in front. Laundry room was clean with 5 washers and 3 dryers. $2.00 for a washer and then dryers were free. Didn’t use restrooms. Had good Verizon service so didn’t use internet. Had to create an account for it. Swimming pool wasn’t open. There was a playground. Water spigot was shared so for every other site the water was on the wrong side. At least in our section. A lot of seasonal. They had backin sites around the outer edge of the park.
Price reflects a 10% Good Sams discount.
