“Very nice campground ”

I loved this campground and if we did not have a reservation at Tiger Run in Breckenridge we would have stayed here for a few days... clean site very level with nice table and views galore... wish we would have brought kayaks. The level of water was down as it is common at that time of year in late August. It made for interesting hiking along water line uncovering all sorts of natural items..Will definitely be back.

“Busy campground with great access to lake and open space”

Reviewed May 30, 2016

Overall Rating

Inlet Bay was a bit of a mixed bag for me. I stayed here for a week and a half at the end of May. It is right next to the marina and some of the sites are waterfront, which was nice. Although beware, the sites that are not waterfront back up to a fairly busy road. The campground has two sections, one that is south of the marina and one that is north of the marina, they are technically the same campground but are about 1/2 mile apart, with the marina and its huge parking lot separating them. If you are in the northern section of the campground you have excellent access (like a 2 minute walk) to the Soderberg open space which is beautiful. Excellent trails for both hiking and mountain biking. Dogs are also allowed in the open space.

The huge downside to this campground is that it is really busy and it attracts the party crowd. It's one thing when a campground is full, it's another thing when it's full and every site has an RV plus several tents. People show up here in packs and instead of all getting their own site, each site has a stupid amount of people. They seemingly bring their entire multigenerational family, friends, untrained dogs, herds of children, and coolers full of whatever will get them drunk the cheapest and just sit around being obnoxious the whole weekend. Ugh. If this is your scene, you will absolutely love it here. If you are looking for a little more peace, I would recommend looking elsewhere.
