Lots of hunting activity in the area made it feel not-so-safe and pretty sure some folks were playing recorded animal calls all night long. Planned on two nights but got out of there the next morning. Strange vibe.
If you do look for the spot, it’s on FSR 3725, go further than you think and you’ll find another dirt road headed to the right, marked only with red flags and spray painted beer cans when we got there. (No road signs to be found anywhere within this National Forest)

“Not for larger RV’s or trailers. Low and narrow tree branches. ”

We were about a 1/4 mile away and turned around. I would not tow a trailer through this narrow area. If you do expect trees and branches to hit and scratch the sides of your trailer and trees and branches to hit and scratch the top of your trailer. I’m talking about RV trailers that are 8 to 8.5 feet wide. I would say any RV trailer that is over 11 feet in height. Smaller RV’s and narrower RV’s could get through with out scratching or damage.

We camped here at this spot but there are numerous excellent other spots should this one be taken. In fact, it was hard to choose. About four miles on a passable gravel road. Should note: the gravel road does get some traffic on the weekend. Reduced to nothing midweek. If you’re here on a weekend you might want one of the spots more removed from road.
Lisa would stay here again
