Indian Rock RV Resort & Campground

The owners were very nice. I can’t stress that enough. They helped us book last year for our summer road trip this year even though they don’t normally do that. And they were super nice during checkin and throughout our stay. The pool is also very nice, but closes early (6:00 pm).

The campground is very sandy. The facilities and clean and the electric system is really great. The water honestly tastes terrible even with a Britta.

The source of my negativity toward the place is that it’s more than $80/night and the place looks like it was constructed in the late 60s/early 70s and hasn’t been updated or touched since. I’d stay here again for $50/night, which feels appropriate given the quality. Then again it’s NJ. I’m sure there aren’t a lot of quality campsites inland. And you’re close to Six Flags (10 min away).
