A lot of the side roads are closed near and around this campground.

Even paid for campgrounds were closed so maybe check online before hand

I saw a sign saying road closed for Dec 15 - March 15 iirc

I wouldn't recommend this place for trailers. Road is to tight and camp spot access is Rough. Campers and vans are OK. Very little sun for solar.

Nice sites, we drove my car in and stayed for the night. Not many people up there but they were far enough that we couldn’t hear them. Pretty views of the valley below.

First time we found this gorgeous camping and trailhead area as we were driving our 21 foot class C Hornet. If you are being guided by GPS you won't miss the entrance as you are going up (right) side of road. The Motor home that has V8 456 hp (+/-) was ideal, for partly paved with dirt a bit hard rdm but saw cars, vans, camper trailer... more
