“Great for small rigs”

Overall Rating

Dry camping for small rigs and tents. There is a dump station and plenty of water spigots. Even though some of the pull-throughs are actually quite long, they are curved with trees bordering them which meant our 23ft trailer was tight and there would be no space for slide outs.

Sites were beautiful in amongst trees and the campground was well maintained, but still woodsy. Most sites had a good amount of privacy, but there was some noise from weekenders escaping Seattle.

The beach is down a steep road or alternative trail with steps, and is truly beautiful, with views across to Bainbridge island. A dock allows for fishing and watercraft. We kayaked to Bainbridge island at low-tide which was fun.

“Small, shady campground. ”

Reviewed 8/13/2019

Overall Rating

We did not camp here but we did go to shore and check it out. We came in by boat and moored overnight.

Small, one loop campground with lots of shade. There are a couple of sites that might work for a big rig. Probably more suited for smaller RV’s, trailers, campers or tents. Some pull throughs, not all sites were level.

The park is located on 13 acres, but it is quite steep from the beach to the campground by either road or trail. Lots of old growth timber and one of the largest Yew trees in the nation grows here.

Several group picnic areas, baseball field, beach, pier, dock, mooring buoys, dump station, Veteran’s war memorial, hiking trails, boat launch, flush toilets, showers.
