Ideal Motel & RV Park

First, they never have openings, because they have so many full-time campers living there. Generally, they’ll have 1 to 2 openings. I don’t know that you can call it an RV park as you’re basically parked on top of each other in a parking lot. The campground is surrounded by a hotel which I wouldn’t recommend anyone staying in. I would definitely keep driving to Billings, or Lewistown.

Roundup has seen better days and so has the RV park behind the little motel.

One of those small parks (7 sites) that would be just fine if not for some of the "guests" with trashy units. Recent rains also made for a lot of mud where a few truck loads of gravel would resolve the issue. Same with the pot holes in and around the spaces.

Everything worked fine. We had 50 amp FHUs and we were able to get level. Satellite connected. No park WiFi. Cell coverage was weak.

The owner(?) Carol and the gentleman who greeted us were very friendly and helpful. Carol called me twice before our stay for updates, including letting us know she wouldn't be there to greet us and where we were to park.

The motel is very cute and with a bit of work the park can be too.
