Overview of Hyde Memorial State Park RV Campground
New Mexico State Parks offer the Annual Camping Permit (ACP) for purchase from any New Mexico State Park, alternatively the ACP can be purchased at the Santa Fe Regional Office. The ACP will waive the $10 nightly rate per campsite but will not remove the cost of any utility hook-up (electric or full hook-up) fee. Also, any reservation fees or cancellation fees must still be paid.

“Small RV sites near a road”

Overall Rating
The small RV loop in this state park may seem convenient, however, the sites do not offer much privacy. They require you to back your RV up to within 10 feet of the main park road. In addition to the road proximity, the sites are also situated close to each other with no privacy of trees or shrubs.
Also note that there are a few turn arounds past the campground but there are very tight turns on the road ahead.
The area itself is beautiful and a cool retreat from Santa Fe.
We had no Verizon coverage at this area.
