Stayed here in late October; it was crowded but luckily found a spot and it was great because all the spots are spaced out enough so they feel private. Super convenient to Zion National park, and lots of bike trails in that area! We ended up with a mouse in our trailer, so take precautions to keep them out! Otherwise, great boondocking... more

We unhooked and drove the Jeep around to find a spot. It can get windy up there on the bluffs, but the views are awesome! Hurricane is close by just down the mountain with a laundromat right when you get into town. Performance Fitness had the closest for us to get propane. But further down the 9 almost to the 15 is a Chevron which has propane and the Texaco will let you dump for free with a $30 fill. They also have potable water. Waking up to the view of Zion each morning was a big treat! St. George is 30 min away for Home Depot, Costco, etc.

This was an incredible place to camp, watching the sun set and moon come out was wonderful. Dirt roads that are not graded, be careful driving in. Just go slow and you should be good. 10/10 would stay here again.

Overall the sites were great. Our site could have supported a larger 5th wheel, but most of the spots are down rutted side road and would be hard to get to with any decent sized rig. The site was very rutted, but we were able to get level. Verizon signal was strong.
There were probably only 2-3 total sites right off the sheep road that are accessible to larger rigs. All other sites will require diving down rougher roads.
The main sheep road is maintained, but was very washboarded when we were there, just take it slow and you’ll make it to a fantastic free boondocking spot.
