We wanted a campsite in Idyllwild, but all sold out. We were redirected here on a promise that we would be camping in the trees near a creek. We weren’t disappointed. This Riverside County campsite is a hidden gem 8 miles east on the 74 from Idyllwild. In a pretty little valley on a creek, less than a mile from Lake Hemet (fishing). Ca... more
We wanted a campsite in Idyllwild, but all sold out. We were redirected here on a promise that we would be camping in the trees near a creek. We weren’t disappointed. This Riverside County campsite is a hidden gem 8 miles east on the 74 from Idyllwild. In a pretty little valley on a creek, less than a mile from Lake Hemet (fishing). Campsites were large with trees for shade, bathrooms were well maintained. I was told there is usually availability here when the Idyllwild area is full. Both tent and RV sites available.
