The basic no-hookup sites were in good condition and spread out enough to not feel cramped. All sites have good level areas for tents. The parking pads are relatively level for RVs. 26 feet is probably the max comfortable length. Most sites aren't actually on the water and don't have much of a view. But there's good water access via several docks and a large boat ramp.
The town of Hunters is quite remote. There's a decent convenience store in town as well as a local bar and grill.
Verizon service was spotty. ATT service was good enough to stream video.

Dry camping. No water, power, or sewer. Nice dump site. Paved access and level paved pads. Slightly undersized. Our 28’ would fit. But our tow truck stuck out about two feet.
Camp hosts were not helpful. They rode around in their golf cart. Did not stop that we saw. Did not introduce themselves. Didn’t ask about our experience or if they could be any help. But we didn’t need much help luckily.
Nice location on Roosevelt Lake. Nice boat ramp and swimming area. Nice dock for boats. Very nice family day use area. Unfortunately the lake was too rough for us to use the ramp. So we kept the canoe stowed.
We had a rodent gnawing on our rig every evening. Luckily it retreated each night when we got up. Could not find any obvious damage inside or outside. We strung up solar rope lights. But they did not stop our visitor.
No services at the town of Hunters. No gas. No grocery store. No cafe. But they have a bar and grill. So we drove to the other local towns. Very lovely place to live.
Very nice family place. But we’ll camp elsewhere.

This campground is closed as of August 2020.
We were looking for a dump station and found this.
It works for us but water was turned off.
We saw a host for potable and non-potable water.
Go toward the boat launch and you'll see it, to your left.

But it was very clean. The water was turned off and apparently they don't turn it on until July or so. Saw some osprey and bald eagles and hummingbirds. I am not going to complain about the noise, because it was memorial day. I was there a couple days before and it was pretty quiet. The Town of Hunter is only a couple miles away. I was kind of disappointed that I couldn't ride out of the campground very far on my bicycle. The hill out of the campground is very steep and long. No AT&T coverage though someone who had Verison seemed to be okay.
