Overall Rating
Keokuk is a nifty old River town struggling back to life. Hubinger Landing City Park is downtown at the boat launch and you park parallel next to the electric pedestal. No water or sewer. There is a large and noisy grain milling plant next door with lots of noise, train traffic and milling.
But, you are just off the highway bridge to Illinois, main street downtown and near restaurants and taverns. We like it when traveling south in the winter from MN, it is a place to stay that is open and has elec. for heating whereas all the other nearby parks haven't opened yet.
A port in a storm as they say and it really isn't that bad for a night or two!
