If you’re visiting the North Cascades and can’t find a spot closer, this place isn’t half bad but about an hour away. Didn’t hang around much at the campground but it does have a nice boat ramp and what looks like a beach with picnic tables. Our site (20) was extremely uneven as were a lot of others. If you’re visiting the North Cascades and can’t find a spot closer, this place isn’t half bad but about an hour away. Didn’t hang around much at the campground but it does have a nice boat ramp and what looks like a beach with picnic tables. Our site (20) was extremely uneven as were a lot of others. We saw one rv with their trailer tongue touching the ground and rear stabilizer jacks fully extended. Camper left chains attached to truck for what we assumed was to act as an anchor if the wheel blocks failed.

This is one of the most popular campgrounds in the area. I’d recommend Swift Creek over this one. It does have flush toilets and a shower by the dock. The mosquitoes are thick so plan accordingly. This is one of the most popular campgrounds in the area. I’d recommend Swift Creek over this one. It does have flush toilets and a shower by the dock. The mosquitoes are thick so plan accordingly. I wouldn’t say it was big rig friendly. There are a couple of spots large rigs could fit in.
There is no cell service unless you walk to the very end of the dock where Verizon sometimes works and T-Mobile is blazing fast of all things.
