We usually prefer to stay places longer then a single night and usually don't like to hang out in parking lots, just not our style. But this place came to our rescue.

After we left the Thousand Trails Russian River (you can read that review to see why we left) it was getting late at night and we needed a place to go. Deseray found this place and called to confirm we could stay there.

We parked in the back of the parking lot and registered with security as was requested. We set up the rig then went inside for a nice dinner of burger and fries at their restaurant (total with tip was under $20).

We left the next morning, but $20 for a dinner and a parking place for the night was a good deal to me :)

Didn't do any computer work that night. Didn't even check if they had wifi or how the cell signal was.

[Actual date stayed was 02/27/16]

This is one of the smaller casinos -- a bit steep to get to the upper non-paved lot where we stayed but we had the whole upper lot to ourselves. Our large cats (on leashes of course!) dove off into the deep canyon as if it was their very own backyard paradise. We're not gamblers but the FREE cost and easy access of Casinos when you're towing 33' of house behind you is tough to beat. Mostly we were looking for an alternate route from Sacramento back up to Arcata and boy did we find it! Our GPS gave us a bum steer onto 175 between 29 and 101 . . . highly advised to NOT go that way unless you have a smaller rig and are looking for a thrill ride. It's a very steep grade up AND down and the 20 MPH corners never stop! Even larger rigs are limited to 39' -- wasn't clear if that was the length of the trailer only or the full rig? So, all in all, a nice enough place to sleep for the night -- friendly staff, etc. Awesome newer wood bridge -- see the pic. JIM & ANNIE -- Fulltimers since 10/24/15
