Holly Bay campground is lovely, and the sites are spaced out well for privacy. When making the reservation we didn’t realize how far we were from the actual waterfront, but the view was nice.

Excellant spacing between campsites, and a great effort has been made to level the sites. Each site appears to be raked and cleaned between each user of the sites. We camped in July with a large group. Our site was in the middle of the loop extremely large we have a 30ft TT. Two table and fire ring. No sewer hookup. Bathhouse close. It was well used (the campground was almost full). Very nice staff. Minutes from the Marina good distance from other sites. Some of the sites could take a big rig. We... more

The campground is beautiful and the sites were very spacious. There’s lots of shade trees and peek a boo views of the lake. The people were friendly and everything was clean. Cell service is hit or miss, but we did get the PBS channels with just our camper antenna.

This site is considered a premium single at $35/night. There are regular single sites for $29, double sites for larger groups or campers that also have boats and primitive tent only sites. The RV sites were spacious and left room for privacy from site to site. The sites were clean with a fire ring and a picnic table with well kept/cleared pathways. This site had its own pathway to the waters edge and to the hiking trail in the park. Campers near us anchored their boat nearby and would walk to it each day. If you have a boat or kayaks, this is a great location with easy access.
We camped in a 27’ Itasca Cambria. It was easy to manage in this location. Cell service on Verizon was spotty and non existent for ATT. The campground hosts were kind and helpful (there was a bear siting nearby and they were expedient in notification and advised us of the potential need to evacuate if the Forest Service deemed necessary). There was a host on almost every ring within he campground. We were there on ‘non holiday’ weekdays. Our loop was full but quiet. We did not regularly use the bathrooms there but they were clean an stocked when I stopped in to wash my hands.
