If you want privacy, a nice campground and great views this is it. We were planning on boondocking but when we saw the campsites, plus water and trash for $6/nt. with our America the Beautiful pass it was a no-brainer. Even without the pass it would still be only $12. The campground is remote and on the way in we saw no other cars for an hour or so, but it is easily accessible on all paved road. We were here in early November and the daytime temps were 85, but night time it dropped to 59 but felt colder so definitely bundle up. There are trails immediately nearby from 1 - 10 miles in length and from easy to difficult in skill level. There are some foxtails so it would be best to keep dogs on leashes and it's required anyway. Quiet time is 7 pm - 7 am, no generators allowed during that time. Our only ding is that the site was fairly unlevel, but that was a minor inconvenience. Will definitely be back. Surprisingly we had 4G, 3 bar cell and Mi-fi with Verizon so no problems there.
Denise K. would stay here again
