Question about Hoh Campground

Ranger says 22’ is the max length. From the reviews, it looks like bigger rigs have parked there. We have a 36’ travel trailer. Think it is worth the drive out there to see if there’s a spot? We can always park the truck elsewhere. Will 36’ feet be too long? We are technically a 31’ model but... you know hitch and bumper add a few feet. Thanks!

There are state lands where you can dry camp off the road in. Show up early, and if you don’t fit, use the state land. I doubt you’ll fit. Our 18’ fiberglass camper was very tight. Good luck

We camped at Hoh Campground in July 2019, they had recently did some upgrades to the campground (mainly A loop). We were in A loop with a 30' trailer that would likely fit yours, but there are very few that will. Per their website today "RVs: Sites for 21 feet, a few for up to 35 feet. No dump station."

It’s going to depend a little on what sites are open/available. We visited the Hoh RF last December and only A-loop was open (closest to the River). We took our 28’ (33’ nose to tail) without an issue! Not sure how covid may have changed things tho...I’ve wrote a review for Hoh if you want more details.

We have stayed in all three loops. There are sites you long rigs, ours is a 37-foot motor home. Well worth it.
