The bathrooms need to be cleaned and updated. Very dated. Many of the sites are not level, so bring plenty of leveling blocks. Only a select few sites have sewer, but they do have a convenient dump station. Utilities are all at the front of the site, so bring you long extension cords. Bears are onsite. We heard people yelling at bears 2 of the nights we were there. So be sure to keep a clean site and use the bear boxes.

Dirt roads through pines to fairly tightly packed sites, but you can't beat the location right across from Lake Tahoe and along a great bike path. Dirt roads through pines to fairly tightly packed sites, but you can't beat the location right across from Lake Tahoe and along a great bike path. Note, when we checked in, we were told dogs were not allowed, but then it was suggested that if we had a service dog - or claimed that we did - there would be no verification required and we could stay without a problem, which we did! Lots of families with bikes and kayaks enjoying a summer camping experience on the lake. Secluded, no but a nice, friendly environment.
