Decent campground. Sometimes smells coming from closed nearby mill. Price changed to $35/day for 2023.

Overall Rating
Nine campsites, all with 20/30/50 electrical, water, and sewer. Non-reservable, first-come-first-serve. No showers, but there are public restrooms. Very pleasant location on the Flambeau River and a short distance from downtown. Playground, walking trail, shelter, basketball courts, and other things for families. $25 per night.

Hines park campground is adjacent to the north fork of the Flambeau river. FULL HOOKUPS for only $25 a night. A few sites are difficult for a large rv to access due to trees and poles. Hines park campground is adjacent to the north fork of the Flambeau river. FULL HOOKUPS for only $25 a night. A few sites are difficult for a large rv to access due to trees and poles. There are 9 campsites to choose from for RV’s, and tent sites interspersed. Self registration.
The park itself is beautiful, and the city does a great job with upkeep.

A lovely spot to overnight in town of Park Falls. In a park that was well kept, but could be noisy as papermill just across the water. Local kids sometimes et noisy, but generally well behaved. Probably busy on holiday weekend, we were the only weekday camper. Park Falls is home HQ for world class St. Croix fishing rods. They have an outlet store at the factory if you are so inclined.
As I recall, they wanted a donation and the $20 was what we left for them. It was a nice port in a storm and we were tired of driving. No dump station, but ther was water and elec.
