Park is conveniently located off I10. Staff was very friendly upon arrival. I loved the little goodie bag. I like all the fun games the park has set up:giant chess, checkers and connect four. I will definitely stay again.

Overall Rating
First, the Views of Sunrise and Sunset are Spectacular! Fun, Extra Large Size Games (chess,checkers,jenga Plus More). Large Sites On Gravel With Nice Picnic Tables On Sturdy Bricks! 2 Clean, Grassy Dog parks and Walking Path around Entire Park! Only Drawback Is some road noise but not a problem for sleeping. Definitely Recommend!

This campground is on a hill overlooking I-10 on the outskirts of Ft Stockton. All 50 sites are pull thru with FHU. They have a pool, a pool table & a large outdoor chess game. This campground is on a hill overlooking I-10 on the outskirts of Ft Stockton. All 50 sites are pull thru with FHU. They have a pool, a pool table & a large outdoor chess game. They have a well lit trail that goes around the perimeter of the park. The two dog parks have trees for shade & benches. Since I walk my dog late at night, I appreciate the security lights that come on as you approach them. Overall, this campground is well cared for. We would stay here again.

Everything about Fort Stockton was nicer than expected; this RV park was tidy as a pin, friendly, full-service and had a number of amenities that we didn’t make use of (pool, laundry, showers) but it was a super nice overnight stop. The lot is all gravel, dead level, and they’ve planted trees/greenery at each site. I understand it tends to be windy in these parts of West Texas, and ours was a VERY windy night, but calm in the morning. At the office we were given a useful directory of town businesses, a magazine of the Big Bend region, a bottle of water and some sweets. We were also given a coupon worth $18 at Dickeys BBQ in town which we used for dinner. If you go in town, check out Paisano Pete (the 20 foot roadrunner) and the Comanche Springs water park near the Visitors Center.

This RV Park was easy to find and easily maneuverable. It sits on top of a hill and thus was very windy. The drive-thru spot was not long enough for our truck and 34' fifth-wheel but it was wide enough to park the truck alongside the trailer... not a great setup if you're staying a while but OK for an overnight stay. Staff stayed late to greet us after a later than expected arrival. We were helped into our site at dark and really appreciated the extra help and ability to stay hitched. We were traveling west on I10 on Super Bowl Sunday and this was to be a designated stopping point. Host was super friendly and helpful, personally directing us to our spot. The WiFi here (Starlink based) was strong enough to stream the game. Campground was very clean and well maintained. We are not very familiar with the area or the sites to see, but this would likely be a good place to stay for 2-3 days; other than the pool not being heated.

We called a week earlier and we’re pleased there was a spot. It is very convenient off of I10. Even though it is close to the highway there was not much noise. We were given a goodie bag and shown to our campsite. We were excited by the pool which looked very clean, but it is not heated and too cold for our bodies. Restrooms and showers very very clean. Laundry was good but a bit small for a campground this size. We stayed a week and there were three windy days. It is on a hilltop. There is much to do in Fort Stockton. Owner here is very friendly.

We pulled in late and left early. Check in was pleasant, site was level, park is tidy, easy in and out. We didn't unhook and only used electric. WI fi was strong and we streamed Netflix.

Called ahead to book and so glad I did. The perfect stop. Super warm welcome with lots of laughs! Their system didn’t like our Canadian postal code so just offered cash. Spots were perfectly level. We got a Goodie bag! The wifi was appreciated ‘cause we weren’t going outside! An oasis on this long drive to El Paso.

For Hilltop RV, Fort Stockton, TX: Due to a death in the family, we had to change our plans and cancel several campsite reservations. Out of about 10 campgrounds, this is the only one that gave No credit. This is their policy. Just know that once you make and pay for the reservation, no credits will be given for cancellation.
