Another area on the opposite end of the parking lot also had trash bags laying around. I assume another camper left it there. Tons of flies and gnats, trains all night and there was a lot of semis driving through at night. Hopefully the place gets cleaned up. People need to do better and not ruin something for others. The spot has potential too - fire places and picnic tables… we couldn’t enjoy it since the flies almost carried us away. Also, 0 cell service with att.

There were a few pull off dispersed camping sites along the road so no need to go all the way to the main site unless a picknick table or vault toilet is important to you or you just want neighbors. My cell service was sketchy. Service may have been better at one of the pull off sites.

As others have said, this is just a large gravel parking lot, there are fire rings and picnic tables right along the edges of the parking lot. There’s also a vault toilet. Very quiet at least on a Sunday morning in mid April.

Large lot that can accommodate most any size rig. Right along the river and quiet. Three others were there at the same time as us. About 3 miles off the interstate. Good place to spend the night.

Some trains go by on the opposite side of the river. A lovely spot for dry camping overnight. If I ever pass by again I'll definitely stay here another night.

Only one other RV was parked there when we arrived around 3pm. Another RV pulled in an hour or so later. A gentleman came early evening and cleaned/restocked the pit toilet while we were there. We parked parallel to the river in the site next to the boat launch for a lovely view of the sunset on the water. Next door is a privately-owned campground on the other side of a fence. Some intermittent traffic on the adjacent highway, but overall very quiet and peaceful.

There are three picnic tables and nice large rocks to prevent vehicles from mowing you down in your tent whilst you sleep. Easy set-up at night in the light from the RV park, and little traffic on the 201, though trains run across the river every 4-6 hours. Enjoy!

I am currently staying at an RV Park next door. This BLM Park is going to be decent after the renovations are completed. Gone are the abandoned trailers and garbage. I’ve watched them deposit numerous loads of gravel then laser level the lot. It will be a good Boondocking spot once it opens back up. They have added fencing to reclaim a grassy area that the RV park next door used as their own. In reality, if you stay at the RV park and fish, you will actually be using this BLM land.
