Highbury Gardens RV Park

We stayed at five different campgrounds during our recent Canada trip, and this was the nicest of them. The price ($50 CAD + tax, which came to $43 USD total) for a full hookup 50-amp site was in line with the other campgrounds we stayed at (two were more expensive, two were less expensive). The campground is heavily wooded and very attractive. Sites had average spacing for a commercial RV park but with the trees and grass we didn't feel crowded. Our back-in site was fairly level, and backed up to a small grassy field and then trees, so we had no one behind us. The owner who checked us in (and out when we returned our gate card) was very friendly. The campground is big enough for decently long dog walks, plus they have a very nice nature trail with a stream/creek running through it which was great for longer walks. While there's no WiFi, our AT&T roaming worked very well. The only downside to our visit was lots of mosquitos and black flies, but that's typical/expected for inland Nova Scotia in July. We'd gladly return if we re-visit the area in the future.
