Stayed here 8-2022. Close to all the wonderful hiking around Old Man's Cave. Only (4) sites so it doesn't feel like a tight crowded campground. Would definitely stay here again.

This campground is part of a collection of cabins, which is the main focus of the property. The four sites were added on and provide a great place to call home while exploring the Hocking Hills area. With full hookups (water, sewer/septic, 20/30/50 amp) and large, flat gravel pads surrounded by forest it makes for a tranquil retreat. Wild turkeys came within a few yards of our campsite.
There is a small pond with a shelter and some furniture but this campground is not designed to offer activities on-site. If you're looking to keep the kids busy, this is not a KOA.
Heed our warning in the photos: DO NOT TAKE STEELE ROAD. We used Waze to guide us in and attempted to pass over Steele Road, a very steep and narrow gravel road. Even with a "running start" we were not able to pull our 24' trailer up the hill. We came to a stop and then, despite full brake application, our rig slid backwards down the hill and into a ditch. Enough said... don't do it.
Once we actually arrived at the park we enjoyed the clean, quiet and comfortable sites as we explored the amazing natural beauty of Hocking Hills State Park.
Chris would stay here again
